PETERSEN MEDIA: A busy weekend of action saw Parker Price-Miller and Destiny Motorsports battle both the All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws where a charge to fifth on Monday night in Lawrenceburg, IN would highlight the weekend.
“This thing is a lot of fun to drive right now, and we are really getting confidence as a team,” Parker Price-Miller said. “I made a mistake on Friday and we had some mechanical issues on Sunday, but Monday night was a great way to cap the weekend.
Monday night saw Price-Miller check in a Lawrenceburg Speedway to take on the World of Outlaws. Timing the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Agee Farms No. 4 12th quickest in qualifying time trials, PPM would go to work on the tricky racing surface in his heat race as he finished fourth.
Moving into the 35-lap feature event, Price-Miller would take the green flag from the 16th starting position. Putting it all on the edge lap after lap, Price-Miller was able to flex his muscle a little as he worked his way forward on the high-banked speedway.
Continuing to fight his way forward, Price-Miller would close his Memorial Day Weekend out with a great run from 16th to finish fifth with the World of Outlaws.
Kicking the weekend off at Attica Raceway Park on Friday night, Price-Miller would get timed in fastest in his qualifying group, which placed him in the second row of his heat race.
Making a mistake in his heat race, PPM would get up over the edge of the racing surface and would be relegated to a sixth place finish and would force him into the ‘B’ Main.
Finishing second in the semi behind Jac Haudenschild, PPM would transfer into the feature event where he would roll off the starting grid from the 22nd starting position.
From the back of the pack, Price-Miller would work around the slicked off surface fighting for each and every position as he would cap his night off with a 15th place finish.
Saturday night’s event would rain out and Sunday night would see PPM and company have issues with an engine after taking the green flag from the third starting position.
Leading up to the engine issues, the Destiny Motorsports team had a good night going as they timed in fourth quickest in their group, and ran second in both the heat and the Dash.
“I keep saying it, but I really feel like we are on the verge off ripping a few of these races off,” Price-Miller said. “Noisey, Kevin, and Tyler are confident in what they are doing, and I am more than confident in our car each night, so we will keep having fun and doing what we have been doing. Rick and Barb Rogers deserve to get back to victory lane and I think its going to happen really soon. I want to thank all of our great partners for their continued support.”
